WHERE WERE YOU?
SVHS REUNION 2003

AND WHAT WERE YOUR DOING THE SUMMER OF 1953?

Send us one sentence about your life the summer of 1953 for publication.

Duane Olson
                           - Jim Danielson and I joined the Marine Corps

and spent the summer in sunny California.

M. L. O. (a.k.a Mary Louise Olson) - Shirley Olson and I went to St. Paul, landed jobs as "secretaries" (Miss Kramer's best) and rode a street car to work from  our apartment on Selby Ave., to downtown on 7th Street each and everyday until late August.

Tom Forthun - John Kirk and I loaded the back of our 1936 Chevy and had an eventful trip driving to Alhambra, California.

We're waiting for your one liner!
