Ahh, now it is (notice, no apostrophes) coming back to me. I can hear the voices of Clifford
Larson and the group that would gather at the Standard Oil Station, the voices at Thompson(s) Cafe, Syver, the farmers on
Saturday or Friday night as they joined the townspeople, and much more. I once wondered why Mrs. Nestingen asked me
why I had a Norwegian accent when I was of German descent. I guess I am proud to have been a part of that tradition.
Thanks to the contributor of the "UFF-DA" article. Enjoyed it.
